Get ready for a week of fun, creativity, and hands-on discovery at our Nature Explorers: 3D Design & Printing summer camp, designed just for curious creators ages 6–8! This camp blends the beauty of the natural world with the excitement of 3D design and printing, giving kids a fresh perspective on both art and science.
Each day, campers will take inspiration from nature—designing their own bugs, trees, flowers, leaves, and more using 3D printing pens and kid-friendly digital tools like TinkerCad. They’ll observe patterns in nature, explore symmetry and structure, and bring their outdoor-inspired ideas to life in 3D form.
With the help of caring instructors, students will turn their designs into real objects using 3D printers, watching their creations form layer by layer. Some items may be printed outside of class and returned later to ensure maximum creative time.
This camp is perfect for young explorers who love being outside, asking questions, and making things with their hands. It’s a playful way to connect nature and technology while sparking imagination, learning, and lasting memories.
