Get ready for a week of fun, creativity, and hands-on discovery at our Cosmic Creations: 3D Printing the Universe summer camp, built for adventurous minds ages 9–12! This exciting program invites campers to explore the wonders of space exploration and engineering through hands-on design and 3D printing.
Campers will take on daily design challenges inspired by real space missions, using 3D printing pens and TinkerCad to model their own rockets, satellites, habitats, rovers, and planets. As they work, they’ll explore how real-world aerospace engineers solve problems like structure, propulsion, and life support in space.
With guidance from instructors, students will prepare and print their creations using real 3D printers, turning their futuristic ideas into tangible models. Some complex prints may be completed outside of camp to maximize creative time, then returned for students to keep or display.
This camp is a great fit for young builders, thinkers, and dreamers who are fascinated by STEM, innovation, and the final frontier. It’s a thrilling fusion of imagination, engineering, and discovery—launching campers into a universe of creative possibility!
