Get ready for a week of fun, creativity, and hands-on discovery at our Summer 3D Design and 3D Printing Camp, designed for imaginative makers ages 9–12! This dynamic camp combines art, engineering, and technology, empowering students to bring original ideas to life through the full 3D creation process.
Campers will begin by exploring 3D printing pens to sketch, build, and prototype their ideas in real space. Then, they’ll transition to TinkerCad, a kid-friendly yet powerful 3D modeling platform, where they’ll learn the fundamentals of digital design—from combining shapes to creating functional objects and personalized models.
With support from instructors, campers will prepare and print their own designs using real 3D printers, gaining insight into how 3D printing works while developing critical thinking and design skills. To maximize class time, some prints will be completed outside of camp and returned for students to take home or showcase.
Projects are tailored to older students, with more advanced challenges, creative freedom, and opportunities for deeper learning. It’s the perfect mix of problem-solving, innovation, and fun, where kids don’t just learn—they become confident creators.
