At ThinkAhead Lab, we believe the future belongs to those who can connect the dots. The Smart Inventors Winter Camp is a unique hybrid experience where digital design meets physical engineering, teaching students how to combine 3D printing, mechanics, and robotics into one creative skillset.
What Students Will Do:
- 3D Design & Printing (The Core): Using professional CAD tools, students will design custom inventions and functional parts. This isn’t just about making toys; it’s about engineering solutions that interact with the real world.
- Mechanical Engineering (Unplugged): Using award-winning tools like Spintronics and Turing Tumble, students dive into the “brain” of the machine. They will build mechanical circuits to understand how computers think using gears, switches, and gravity.
- Robotics Lab: We bring everything together with Codey Rocky/Evo robots. Students will code their bots to navigate mazes and solve challenges, often using the very obstacles and attachments they designed and printed earlier in the week!
Why This Camp? Most programs teach these skills in isolation. At ThinkAhead Lab, we teach how they connect. It is the perfect blend of digital creativity, hands-on building, and coding logic.
Prerequisites: No prior experience is required! Whether your child is a master coder or a first-time maker, our curriculum scales to challenge every level.
