Our 3D Printing Enrichment Program introduces students to the exciting world of 3D design and creation.
The program begins with hands-on activities using 3D printing pens, where students learn basic techniques to create simple designs. With each project, they gradually build skills, confidence, and creativity.
As students progress, we transition to digital design with TinkerCad, a kid-friendly 3D modeling program. Here, they bring their ideas to life through imaginative, personalized projects.
Throughout the course, students also have the opportunity to use 3D printers under supervision, learning how to prepare their designs for printing and safely operate the printers. To maximize learning, some larger projects will be printed outside of class and returned to students for take-home or classroom showcases.
This program is more than just using technology—it empowers students to imagine, design, and create their own inventions while exploring the intersection of art, creativity, and engineering.
